Cheese and Weezer.

So tonight, I've really been trying to balance my time between watching the Braves' game and listening to The Adventures of Bobby Ray. I gotta say, unfortunately, my night has been focused on B.o.B., but that's nothing to be ashamed of if you ask me. I just finished listening to it all the way through (that link is missing 2 tracks I haven't found yet: 5th Dimension and Yesterday), and I gotta say all the hype surrounding this album was for very good reason. Bobby Ray really delivers here and blew my expectations out of the water.

'The Kids' and 'Satellite' are my two favorites, but either 'Past my Shades' or 'Ghost in the Machine' is the best written. A little super-Cudi-esque, but that's something I can handle right now. Have yourself a listen to the entire(?) album. It won't let you down.

Speaking of Scott, we'll hopefully be seeing a new Cudi album sometime in August. At least that's the plan now. It's to be called Man On the Moon II: Mr. Rager. It was originally supposed to be called Cudder & the Revolution of Evolution to Man. The tracks are (mostly) completed and Chip tha Ripper is on at least two tracks I'm sure of.

But this isn't a hip-hop blog, remember?
Yes, I remember, which is why I'll give you this if you don't appreciate the ethnic side of things. It's a cool listen at first, but I doubt it'll get much play in my iTunes. It's a guilty pleasure right now and a cool treat for a couple minutes.

But this isn't a music blog, remember?
Yes, I remember. This is a blog about the lives of David Keller and Josh Wachtel. Negotiating the proverbial hurdles we face all the time like a regular Josh Barcus, suffering through teenage angst and the everyday struggles today's teenagers are faced with, fighting off our demons per diem, all while saving time to flourish as the state's most average athletes. Well, we've been negotiating and suffering and fighting and flourishing very well and through all that negotiation, suffering, fighting and flourishing, I've forgotten about the Braves' game. Damn. Down 2-0 in the 6th. That's what happens when you attempt to smack a ball graced by the seraphic fingers of Roy Halladay. Nothing. Nothing happens. Maybe next time.

In other news, my legs hurt really really badly and I'm extremely hungry for cheese. Welcome to a David Keller Wednesday night. Angels and Demons is pretty sweet so far, but I'm only 100 pages (1/7) of the way in. It'll be a winner. (Well obviously). ANYWAAAAYYY I've got a pretty girl and a baseball game to attend to so I must depart from you people. I'll leave you with this because I love you.

Now Playing: KiD CuDi - Man on the Moon: The End of the Day
